Top Two Primary Experience in Washington State

Voters in the State of Washington are increasingly disenchanted with the Top Two Primary. It lives up to its expectation of an open Primary, but it denies voters an open General Election by limited choices to only two candidates. The Constitution Party of Washington is spearheading a campaign to let voter frustration be heard through the ballot box by writing in candidates of their choice. The 2010 Write-In-Protest Campaign flyer explains the process in detail. We will tally all undervotes this year to show a percentage of voter not happy with the choices placed before them. This is the voter's only recourse to voting against their conscience for choices which will not change the way business is done in the state or at the federal level.
